Carolina students pledge to maintain the ideals of academic integrity, personal responsibility, and responsible citizenship. These ideals are embodied in the Honor Code (Code) as set forth in the Instrument of Student Judicial Governance (Instrument), with the support of students, faculty, and staff. When a student applies to Carolina, he/she commits to the principles embodied in the Code. As part of your commitment to the ideals valued as a member of the Carolina community, this online module is designed to educate and familiarize you with your responsibilities under the Code. It is the responsibility of all undergraduate students to successfully complete this Honor module prior to your arrival for the Fall semester.  Upon completion, please print out and save the certificate at the end to show that you have completed the module.

If you have any questions or trouble completing this module, please feel free to contact the Honor System at honor@unc.edu
