Refer Your Concerns
Any person may refer behavior by Carolina students to the Office of Student Conduct relevant to non-compliance of the University’s Community Standards associated with COVID-19. The Office of Student Conduct will review and address the behavior as appropriate based upon the information provided and, in some cases, the COVID-19 Administrative Process may apply. For the University to effectively follow-up on reports of student non-compliance with the Community Standards, and to meet due process requirements, detailed information about the incident and the individuals involved is needed.
Community Responsibility
Part of our community remaining healthy is holding each other accountable to the Community Standards established by the University. It will take the commitment of everyone in our community to ensure success of this semester; we all have a responsibility to “Know our W’s” - Wear a mask, Wait 6 feet apart, and Wash your hands often.
Beginning Spring 2021, Carolina has added a Testing Program to further manage the spread of COVID-19 on campus and in our community. With Carolina colleagues among the world's top infection disease researchers, we know this layered approach of managing the spread of COVID-19 is important, and members of the campus community must adhere to the expectations outlined in the Community Standards.
We empower and support individuals at Carolina to participate in conversations with respect for yourself and others. As you consider your tone and other nonverbal communication, we offer these statements for you to use in support of keeping the Carolina community safe:
